Offshore

We target Tuna, Yellow Tail, Dorado and Marlin when fishing offshore.  Trips typically depart 4-6 AM and last until we have limits or a max of 12 hours.  Depending on where we fish, a CA fishing license and or Passport and Mexican license may be required.  These trips are typically fished within a 25-60 mile radius of San Diego.  

Extended Offshore / Trophy Bluefin:  

We also offer an extended offshore trips when the target species are beyond a 60 mile radius of San Diego.  Trophy Bluefin fishing at San Clemente Island is an example of this type of trip or when the fish in general are in the 60-100 mile zone.  Additional bait is purchased for Trophy Bluefin trips which usually includes live sardines and frozen Flying Fish.  

Coronado Islands / Mexican Coastline

The Coronado Islands are about 20 miles south of San Diego in Mexican waters and can have world class spring time Yellow Tail fishing.  In addition to Yellow Tail, the Islands kick out a wide variety of fish including Rock Fish, Calico Bass, Halibut and White Sea Bass.  3/4 Day and Full Day trips offered. ***PASSPORTS REQUIRED***

Local Kelp Beds

La Jolla and Point Loma kelp beds offer a great variety of fish species to catch ranging from rock cod, calico bass, yellow tail, White Sea Bass and Halibut.  Both Half day and 3/4 day trips are offered.  CA fishing license required.

Winter Rock Cod

We offer extended half day trips fishing Mexican waters targeting deep water rock cod.  Trips depart at 7am and return to the dock around 2pm.  Passports and Mexican Licenses Required.  Trips offered: Nov – April

Whale Watching

Private Whale watching tours are offered January & February. Trips typically depart and return 8am – 11am or 11:30am – 2:30pm. Max of six passengers. Bring your own food and beverages of your choice.

Sunset Bay Cruise

Sunset cruises typically depart an hour and a half before sunset and take a tour around Mission Bay. We return to the dock about 30 minutes after sunset. Great for a Romantic Date or Bachelor / Bachelorette party’s. Trips are offered year round and have a max of six passengers. Bring your own food and beverages of your choice.
